My favorite kind of couples are the ones who are down for anything. The ones who are adventurous, fun, and trust the process. That is exactly what it was like working with Alyssa and Nick during their engagement session in Asbury Park. It was a rainy day, but these two brought all the sunshine and warmth with their love and personalities. During our initial call, we immediately clicked. I was at that moment I knew that they were some of my dream clients!
We started their engagement session on the beach, and to be honest, I didn’t even have to direct them much (or at all!) because their chemistry is everything!! The way they were laughing together, smiling at each other, giggling, and looking at one another had me cheesing so hard behind the camera.
Couples like this make my heart so happy and my job so easy. Alyssa and Nick were the type of couple who include you in their inside jokes and are so effortlessly kind. Capturing their carefree spirits and friendly vibes was important to me during this engagement session, and they made doing so a total breeze.
Even though we were all getting rained on while taking photos on the beach, Alyssa and Nick went the extra mile and went into the ocean!! It made for some of my favorite photos and they had so much fun doing so!
After our beach adventure, we took photos along the boardwalk and found the coolest, most colorful wall art! I thought it perfectly represented their vibrant personalities, so it was a must!
I left the session feeling so lucky. All my couples feel like people I can genuinely be friends with which is super important to me and what I do in this business. During the majority of Alyssa and Nick’s session, I felt like I was just hanging out with my old friends, and that is so special to me.
In my business, working with so many incredible couples during such an important and exciting time in their lives, I want to be there for them in more than just a “vendor” way.
